Effect Of A Phone’s Big Screen On Battery Life Performance

Hey what is up guys, this is BEN here!

And Today,we are going to explore the world of smartphone by finding out the relationship between Screen size of a smartphone and its battery performance.

From my last article,  I explained some of the sufficient factors that a mobile or smartphone must pass before you consider spending your money to buy it. So if you have not read that, See Things/Factors To Consider Before Buying Any Smart Phone

So if you have plans of getting a new mobile phone or upgrading from your current smartphone to a new one, consider checking it out so you can have in mind of what to expect from a smartphone before buying it. See the article HERE

In this article, I will focus on the effect of a phone’s screen size on how long the battery of the phone will last. Or in other words the relationship between a mobile phone screen size and the battery capacity.

Why is this really important ?

This article will help you to get a clear understanding of how it works so that you can able to make a better choice next time you will consider buying a mobile phone.

I have heard many people argue about which phone has the best battery and which one last longer on heavy use or normal use.

For example, some body using a phone with a 5.5 inch screen having a battery capacity of 3000 mAh may be well convinced that his phone will last longer than another smartphone with a 4.5 or 5 inch screen having a battery capacity of 2500 mAh.

That is not the case, the screen size of any smartphone is directly proportional to the battery size of the size. i.e a phone with larger screen will have a larger battery so as to accommodate the consumption of the extra display.

That is why when you see some tablets or pads having a large battery capacity of say 5000 mAh or 6000 mAh, you may think that it will last longer because the battery capacity is high but in the real sense, it was given higher battery because of the large screen, as the more large screen, the more consumption.

But that doesn’t mean that smaller screens can not have a large battery attached to it.

For example, if you are given a phone of 5.5 inch screen with 3000 mAh battery and another phone of 5 inch screen with same battery capacity of 3000 mAh ,  which one do you think will last longer?

If your answer is that of 5.5 inch screen then you have to think again and re-read the writings above.

But, If your answer is that of 5 inch screen then you are correct.

Why?

According to what we mentioned earlier, its because the one of lesser screening size will consume less data because of the smaller screen compared to the one of larger screen.

So in conclusion,  the larger the screen size,  the much power it consumes and the smaller the screen size, the less power it consumes.

That’s it guys on the relationship between a smartphone screen size and the battery life.
